Artwork

From the dawn of time, humans and other early men depicted nature on cave walls all over Europe and Asia. Images of long extinct mega fauna showed the connection of man and beast.

Art now seems to have lost something in that manner. The connection is gone, done for amusement and not to make a point of some kind. While that is fine and a commercial success, I try to portray nature in a way to help me educate people as to what's in their back yard.

We are forever link to nature. Instead of foraging for food in the fields and forests, we now, forage in the grocery store. Instead of hunting the great beasts of a distant past, most humans' hunt the shrink-wrapped versions in the butcher's freezer. Although, the end result of foraging is the same as it was millions of years ago. The end result is the same...Life feeds on life, we need nature for our survival.

I hope I can portray nature in a manner it deserves and I hope I can portray nature in a way that shows my undying connection to it.
